Culinary Tip

As lamb is generally high in unwanted bad saturated fat, always serve with low fat accompaniments such as jacket potatoes and a mix of steamed Mediterranean vegetables


  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Rub over the lamb and allow to marinate for about an hour.
  2. Remove the lamb from the marinade and braai (indirect method) on an oiled grid over medium to hot coals for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  3. Remove from the braai and rest the meat for 5 minutes before carving. Serve immediately.
